Titans Add Idaho State

Irvine, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton will travel to Pocatello to face Idaho State on Saturday, Feb. 19, as part of the ESPNU Bracket Buster series of men's basketball games. Game time to be determined.

The Bengals of the Big Sky Conference are 5-2 at home but only 6-15 on the season and 2-7 in the Big Sky Conference. The leading scorer is 6-foot guard Broderick Gilchrest at 14.5 ppg and the top rebounder is 7-foot Lithuanian Deivides Busma at 7.6 rpg to go with 12.1 points per game.

The teams have several common opponents. Idaho State has beaten fellow Big Sky member Montana State and lost to Montana and Portland State. The Titans lost to all three. ISU also lost big at Arizona and Cal State Bakersfield while the Titans lost by narrower margins at the same facilities.

Idaho State will return the game to Titan Gym in one of the next two seasons. Fullerton owes a game next year at SIU-Edwardsville.

Fullerton takes an 8-14 overall and 4-5 Big West Conference mark into home games this week vs. UC Irvine and UC Riverside, the latter the Homecoming Game.
