Streeter led the Titans with 21 points as they won their fifth road game in a row and fourth in four years in San Luis Obispo to improve to 15-12 and 8-6 to hold onto third place. Cal Poly got 19 points including a 3-pointer to tie the game with 5.2 seconds left from Shawn Lewis and fell to 10-17, 6-8. David Hanson had 13 points and 9 rebounds but leading scorer Lorenzo Keeler had just 12, only 2 in the second half.

Streeter had given Fullerton the lead at 66-65 with the Titans' second trey of the game with l1:32 to play. Gerard Anderson, who finished with 17 points and 9 rebounds, made two free throws with 39 seconds left for a 68-65 advantage that Lewis erased.

"It was a terrific win, a great win on the road," said Fullerton Coach Bob Burton, who tied George McQuarn for second most career wins at CSF at 122. "We played a great game and I would have said that win or lose.

Jacques not only made great plays offensively, but he stepped up and did a great job on Keeler. The other guys (Aaron Thompson and Anderson) got in foul trouble. Jacques was our third option."

Fullerton shot 48 percent from the floor and made 22 of 28 free throws. Cal Poly shot only 38 percent but made 17 of 22 free throws. The Titans were 2-for-10 from the 3-point line and Cal Polyy was 3 of 19.

After a see-saw first 14minutes, the Mustangs used a 7-0 run to take the biggest lead of the half at 28-21 with 4:22 to go. Fullerton used a late 9-2 to forge a tie at 32. Two Shawn Lewis free throws with 4.5 seconds left broke it and Streeter missed the front end of a one-and-one with 3.3 seconds left to leave it 34-32 Cal Poly at the half.

Fullerton is idle this weekend but closes out the regular season at home next week against Pacific (Thursday, 8:05 p.m. on ESPNU) and UC Davis (Saturday, 6:05 p.m.).
