Marcus Morgan comes from the community college program established by Coach Bob Burton and he's right off the West Valley College blueprints... Tough, blue-collar type player who does all the little things that add up to victories... Great attitude... Explosive athlete who was hobbled much of his sophomore year by a knee injury that gave him some problems early in his Titan career... Probably the strongest player on the Titans' roster... Outstanding rebounder and excellent penetrator.

CSF IN 2006-07: Played in 26 games, starting four (the first 3 games of the season plus March 3 at UC Davis)... Averaged 1.7 points and 2.6 rebounds while playing about 11 minutes per game... Had highs of 12 points and 7 rebounds both vs. Hope International on Nov. 14.

WEST VALLEY COLLEGE: Two-time first-team all-state selection for West Valley College in Saratoga... Team placed second in the state in 2005-06, losing in the finals to unbeaten Fullerton College... Twice earned All-Coast-South Division first-team honors for the Vikings... Averaged 8.0 points and 4.4 rebounds... Shot 54 percent from the floor, eighth best in the conference... Was second on the team at 11.0 points per game in conference games only... Two-year teammate of current Titan teammate Kenneth Alexander and one-year teammate of Junior Russell.

LEIGH HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year varsity letterman at Leigh High School in San Jose for Coach Steve Bonifide... Was team's most valuable player both years and first-team all-league as a senior... Played all three frontline positions... Averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists... Also played football as a freshman... As a senior won academic honors.

Has two brothers, Ray and Chris, and four sisters, Tanisha, CeCe, Kyra and Catrina... Has a Godson, Michael Castaneda, Jr. ... Communications major with emphasis in advertising... Hopes to own his own adveristing agency someday... Chose Fullerton because of the style of play... Credits Coach Danny Yoshikawa for most influence on his career: "He taught me a lot about the game and made me look at the game at a whole new level"... Most memorable sports "thrill" was breaking two backboards in two weeks time in high school... Played travel ball with the Hoosiers and the Panthers.
