Graduate Manager Aaron Lawrence returns for his third season
with the men’s basketball program while completing his
master’s degree in counseling at Cal State Fullerton.
During his time with the Titans, Lawrence has managed the
program’s video responsibilities, including coordinating the
team’s film exchange, preparing and presenting film/scout
presentations, and editing for scouts. He also has assisted with
the academic progress and development of the student-athletes.
Lawrence played two seasons at Alaska Anchorage in 2003-04 and
2005-06, missing the middle year due to injury, and helping the
Seawolves to a pair of Division II NCAA Tournament appearances as
the starting point guard while playing all 61 games. Prior to that,
he played two years at West Valley College (2001-03) earning
first-team Coast Conference South all-league honors as a sophomore
and second-team laurels as a freshman.
A two-time team captain and MVP, Lawrence prepped at McClatchy
High School in Sacramento, Calif., where he was a two-time
All-Metro League honoree as a junior and senior and was named to
the Sacramento Bee All-City Team in his final season. He set
California state high school records with a .947 free throw
percentage and 54 consecutive free throws made as a senior while
averaging 16.8 points, 5.0 assists, and 2.5 steals per game.
Born Jan. 9, 1983, in Sacramento, he currently resides in
Fullerton. His parents are Preston and Kathie.
