FULLERTON, Calif. — South Oak Cliff High School senior guard Keith Richard is set to join the Cal State Fullerton men's basketball program for the 2023-24 season after signing his National Letter of Intent on Wednesday, head coach Dedrique Taylor announced. 

"I am super excited about Keith and what he represents for our program," Taylor said. "He has all the attributes we covet. He is a high character young man, a great student and a very talented player. He is Texas tough, shifty and can create shots for himself and his teammates. He gives us a leg up in our pursuit of a Big West title and another appearance in the NCAA Tournament."

A 6-2 Dallas, Texas native, Richard was named First Team All-District and First Team All-Region as a high school junior in 2021-22. He was also named team captain and MVP last year. 

Richard is the first player to sign with Cal State Fullerton men's basketball for next season.
