Three Titans Earn Big West Accolades

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball had three student-athletes honored by the Big West Conference on Monday. 

E.J. Anosike earned Big West Newcomer of the Year while also being Big West First Team All-Conference. Anosike led the team and the conference with 16.3 points per game while also leading the team in rebounds with 7.7 which ranks fourth in the Big West. Anosike hit multiple milestones in his first year with the Titans, reaching 1,000 points and rebounds for his career. 

Jalen Harris was named Big West Sixth Man of the Year after scoring 9.6 points off the bench for the Titans in 24 games played this year. Harris scored a season-high 20 points against UC Riverside on Jan. 29. 

Damari Milstead was named to the Big West All-Second Team after averaging 11.3 points per game, ranking second on the team and 19th in the conference. Milstead led the team with 2.9 assists per game, ranking ninth in the Big West. He also led the entire conference with 1.93 steals per game. 

The Titans look to carry their strong play into the Big West Conference Tournament, beginning Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Fullerton will place the winner of Cal Poly and UC Davis.
