FULLERTON, Calif.  – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball fell to UC Riverside Thursday night at Titan Gym by a final score of 75-72. The Titans are now 17-10 and 10-2 in conference play.

Fullerton's 10-4 Big West Conference record ranks second behind Long Beach State who have a record of 11-3 in conference play.

After going into the locker room at halftime tied at 36, the Titans fell behind by as many as 12 points in the second half to the Highlanders. However, the team continued to battle back to bring the game within one possession late in the second half. The team had two chances to tie the game late but were unable to get a bucket.

Damari Milstead led the Titans offensively with a season-high 26 points 10-of-19 shooting. Milstead drilled a clutch three-pointer with 48 second left in the game to bring the Titans within two points, 74-72.

E.J. Anosike scored 16 points on 6-of-15 shooting while adding eight rebounds and three assists. Vincent Lee added eight points on 4-of-5 from the field with five rebounds.

A key difference in the game was the three-point disparity as the Titans shot 4-of-17 while UC Riverside went 12-of-21 led by Flynn Cameron who went 4-for-8 from behind the arc. The Highlanders had four starters score in double figures.

The Titans look to end the regular season with a win Saturday against UC Davis on senior night. E.J. Anosike, Ibrahim Famouke Doumbia, Jalen Harris and Damari Milstead will be recognized prior to the game.
