IRVINE, Calif. – The Big West announced Wednesday that Cal State Fullerton Men's Basketball will have their game against UC Riverside on Thursday Mar. 3 will be broadcasted on ESPNU.
The game is the fifth and final regular-season Big West wildcard telecast selected for ESPN Networks during 2021-22 men's basketball season
Cal State Fullerton (16-8, 9-3 Big West) will play host to UC Riverside (14-9, 7-4 Big West) at Titan Gym. The game is set for an 8 p.m. PT tip, with Dave Feldman and Corey Williams on the call for the ESPNU broadcast.
This will be the second meeting of the season between Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside. UC Riverside got the win in the first matchup on January 29 at SRC Arena, 67-54.
The Titans have the Big West's leading scorer, E.J. Anosike, playing in his first season for the Titans after transferring from Tennessee. He is averaging a league-best 16.04 points per game to go along with 7.92 rebounds a contest, which rates third in the conference. Damari Milstead is leading the way with 1.92 steals per night and Jalen Harris is connecting on 46 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc.
ESPN Networks will also carry three men's basketball contests in the 2022 Hercules Tires Big West Basketball Championships presented by The Hawaiian Islands. Both semifinal contests on Friday, March 11 and the championship game on Saturday, March 12 from The Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nev., will air on ESPN2.
