SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Fullerton Men's Basketball were back in the win column with a 67-58 win on Thursday night at UC Santa Barbara.

Tray Maddox Jr. lead the way offensively with 15 points off the bench, while Jalen Harris, E.J. Anosike, and Vincent Lee were all in double figures in scoring.

It was a defensive battle coming out of the gates as each team battled down low for rebounds, with Anosike and Lee going up against Amadou Sow and Miles Norris of UCSB.

After closing the deficit to 13-11, Santa Barbara went on a 9-1 run, and held the Titans scoreless for over five minutes during the middle portion of the first half, taking a 22-12 lead.

But the Titans would battle back, and Vincet Lee hit an and-1 opportunity with 3:52 left in the half to cut the lead to five, 22-17.

The Titans then closed the half on a 10-5 run, including a Tory San Antonio three, to tie the game at 27-27 going into the halftime break.

The Gauchos opened up the second half on a 7-0 run before the Titans went on their own 8-0 run to take a 36-35 lead courtesy of two Jalen Harris foul shots.

Damari Milstead would hit a big three to give the Titans a 39-36 lead with under 13 minutes left in the game. Then The Titans started to open up the gap to UC Santa Barbara. Tray Maddox Jr. drove to the hoop and gave the Titans a 52-42 lead with 7:45 left in the game.

The Gauchos would cut the deficit to five, 56-55  before Tray Maddox Jr. hit a deep three to give the Titans a 59-55 lead with 3:32 left in the game.

Tray Maddox's number was called again, this time with 1:10 left in the game. The senior nailed another deep three, his second of the night, to give Fullerton a 62-57 lead.

The Titans would pull away for the 67-58 win, sweeping the season series between the two squads.
