FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton Men's Basketball earned their seventh straight win, 83-80 over UC San Diego on Saturday night at the Titan Gym.

Five Titans finished with double digits in points scored. Damari Milstead led the way with 20 points, E.J. Anosike, Jalen Harris and Tray Maddox Jr. all had 12, while Latrell Wrightsell Jr. chipped in with 10.

The Titans weathered an early three point barrage by the visiting Tritons, who made 7-11 threes in the first half. With the Tritons up 35-26 with 3:13 left in the  first half, the Titans went on a 20-7 run to end the half, taking a five point lead into the break.

Tray Maddox Jr. and Jalen Harris were a big reason why, as they each sank late threes to help continue the run. Maddox Jr. added a nice drive to the basket to get the Titans tied with 1:44 left in the half.

The second half was a back-and-forth affair. With putting teams looking to push the pace and get to the rim. The game remained within five points for most of the second half, before the Tritons closed the gap to one point with 3:04 remaining.

Jalen Harris then hit his fourth three of the night to give the Titans a 77-73 lead.

The Tritons wouldn't go away though, as they kept within three points of Fullerton for the rest of the way. With 5.1 seconds remaining and the ball with the Tritons, the visitors had a last second shot come up short, clinching the Titans seventh-straight win, 83-80.
