FULLERTON, Calif. – E.J. Anosike scored a career-high 33 points as Fullerton Men's Basketball pulled away from CSUN 79-64 on Thursday night at Titan Gym.
Dante Maddox Jr. also chipped in with his first double-double of the season, recording 10 points and 10 rebounds in the win, while Latrell Wrightsell Jr. and Damari Milstead also were in double figures for the Titans with 10 points each.
Fullerton opened the first half relying on the big man down low, Anosike, who scored 14 points in the half, and also chipped in with five rebounds.
The Titans jumped out to a 25-17 lead courtesy of a steal by Dante Maddox Jt. who dished the ball to Jalen Harris for the score.

Fullerton would extend the lead to 27-17 when Anosike hit another jumper as part of his 33-point performance. Fullerton would eventually take a 40-35 lead into halftime.
CSUN came out firing to begin the second half, taking a 43-42 lead five minutes into the second half. However, Fullerton would respond quickly, rattling off a 16-4 run to take a 58-47 lead with nine minutes left in the game and did not look back.
The lead grew to 12 points before Anosike put an exclamation point on his night with an emphatic dunk with 1:40 remaining to give the Titans their largest lead of the game, 75-61.
