Men's Basketball Takes Down Redlands 93-78

Fullerton, Calif - Fullerton Men's Basketball was back in action Friday night at the Titan Gym and dispatched Redlands 93-78. Junior Vincent Lee led the way for the Titan's, tying his career-high in points scored with 25.

Including Lee, the Titans had five players score at least 12 points in a balanced offensive performance. Damari Milstead had 17 points, E.J. Anosike chipped in with 14, Dante Maddox Jr. had 13, and Tray Maddox Jr. added 12 for the Titans. In addition to his 25 points, Lee added 10 rebounds to his stellar performance, earning his first double-double of the season.

The Titans set the tone early against Redlands, along with his 17 points Milstead had four steals on the night, including this one to start the game.

Milstead entered the night leading the conference in steals, and ended the night with four more, and now has a total of 20 steals on the season.

The Titans grew the lead in the first half to double digits, before a late three cut their lead to seven at the break 40-33. 

Fullerton came out of the break fired up. Lee threw down a dunk to get the squad energized and they never looked back.

The lead eventually ballooned to 18 points midway through the second half, and Fullerton controlled the pace the rest of the way en-route to a 93-78 win.

Up Next: The Titans head on the road to take on Cal State Bakersfield on December 30 and Cal Poly on January 1 to begin conference play.
