Men's Basketball Defeats Life Pacific at Titan Gym

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball dominated Life Pacific from start to finish to earn a 87-59 victory Saturday night at Titan Gym. 

The Titans came out of the gates hot as Tray Maddox Jr. knocked down a three on the first possession of the game to get the offense going. 

Life Pacific hung around for the first few minutes of action but with the score 21-16 the Titans went on an 18-0 run to blow the game open and take a commanding lead. 

E.J. Anosike was unstoppable on the offensive end, scoring 20 points on 9-of-12 shooting in just 18 minutes of action while grabbing seven rebounds including four offensive boards. Anosike came out of the locker room at halftime on fire, dropping 9 points in the first seven minutes of the second half while shooting 4-of-5. 

Dante Maddox Jr. added nine points off the bench and get the fans on their feet with a few unbelieve highlight dunks. Maddox Jr. was a lockdown defender all night, recording a career-high five steals. 

Jalen Harris scored 12 points off the bench on 5-of-8 shooting while Grayson Carper added eight off the bench on 3-of-4 shooting including 2-of-3 from behind the arc. 

Fullerton looks to carry its momentum into the final nonconference game of the season as it hosts the University of Redlands Friday night at Titan Gym at 7:00 p.m. PT.
