Dominant Second Half Propels Titans to Victory Over NAU

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball dominated the second half to defeat Northern Arizona 73-56 wednesday night. With the win the Titans improve to 3-3 on the season.

The Titans led NAU 37-30 at halftime and got off to a 15-0 run in the second half to take a commanding lead. Fullerton gave up just three points through the first 10 minutes in the second half of action. 

Tray Maddox Jr. bounced back to lead the team with 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting, including 2-of-5 from behind the arc. E.J. Anosike and Dante Maddox Jr. added 13 and 12 points, respectively. 

Vincent Lee added a huge spark off the bench, scoring 11 points on an efficient 4-of-5 from the field in just 14 minutes of action while adding three rebounds. Ibrahim Famouke Doumbia also gave the Titans a boost off the bench, especially protecting the rim on the defensive end. 

NAU made the game closer late in the second half, however, the score was not indicative of how the game went. Fullerton controlled the game throughout the second, outscoring the Lumberjacks 36-26. 

The Titans look to carry their momentum into their next game as they return home to Titan Gym  to host Wyoming Monday Nov. 29 at 7pm.
