FULLERTON, Calif. – After leading the team to a 15-point victory over George Washington and overcoming an 18-point deficit at San Diego, E.J. Anosike has been named Big West Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Anosike scored 28 points on 12-of-16 shooting in the Titans dominant win over George Washington at Titan Gym. He also added 11 rebounds to earn his second double-double of the season.

Two days later Anosike dropped 20 points on San Diego to help lead the team back from an 18-point deficit to defeat the Toreros 57-55. Anosike was just short of recording another double-double as he grabbed nine rebounds in the game.

In four games this season, Anosike leads the team in scoring with 19.5 points per game while nearly averaging a double-double with 9.8 rebounds a game. While scoring at a high clip, Anosike has been extremely efficient from the field, shooting 62.3 percent.

The Titans are back on the court Tuesday against UT Rio Grande Valley and Wednesday against Northern Arizona at the NAU Tournament.
