Titans Put Forth Strong Showing In Exhibition Against Bethesda

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball defeated Bethesda University in an exhibition game Saturday afternoon at Titan Gym by a final score of 105-46.

Fullerton led 53-20 at the end of the first half before dropping 52 in the second half. Tray Maddox Jr. led the way with 17 points on 7-of-13 from the field. Maddox Jr. added seven rebounds, including three offensive boards and two assists. 

In total, six Titans scored in double figures including Tory San Antonio (14), Latrell Wrightsell Jr. (12), Grayson Carper (12), Ladu Laku (12) and E.J. Anosike (10). Both Carper and Laku added their 12 points off the bench, scoring 24 of the teams 43 bench points. 

Anosike, the graduate transfer from Tennessee, had an extremely efficient game in his first Titan outing. He scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting while grabbing eight boards. Vincent Lee led the team with 11 boards including five on the offensive end. 

The Titans are back on the court for their season-opener Tuesday Nov. 9 at Santa Clara. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. PT.
