Stockton, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton men's basketball lost a close one at Pacific on Wednesday night by a score of 62-59. The game was close throughout and the Titans had a shot at the end to tie the game but leading scorer Brandon Kamga's three-point attempt was just short. He finished the game with 18 points.

The largest lead the entire night was nine for Pacific and four for Fullerton (3-6 overall) in a game that featured two ties and four lead changes. Fullerton trailed Pacific (8-3 overall) 53-47 at the 7:43 mark of the second half but went on a 10-4 run to tie the game at 57. The Tigers stepped to the free-throw line up 61-59 with 19 seconds left and made the first but missed the second. Down three, senior guard Austen Awosika's floater was blocked with 14 seconds left but freshman forward Vincent Lee grabbed the offensive rebound. The Titans shot the ball well at a 47.9% (23-48) clip from the field. From distance, Fullerton went 5-15 (33.3%) but just 8-15 (53.3%) from the free-throw line.
