Santa Clara, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton men's basketball picked up a win against Southeast Missouri State on Wednesday afternoon by a score of 64-57. The game against the Redhawks was the first of three games for the Titans in the Cable Car Classic at Santa Clara's Leavey Center. Sophomore guard Wayne Arnold scored a season-high 21 points to lead the Titans.

The Titans (3-3 overall) led for 34 minutes of the 40-minute game, including all of the second half but it was a close game throughout as their largest lead was just seven points. Fullerton shot 52% from the field in the first half and although they cooled off quite a bit in the second half, they still ended up at 42% (22-52). The team shot 4-12 (33%) from three and 16-26 (62%) from the free-throw line.

Arnold tallied 21 points to mark his fifth-straight game scoring 10+ points and marked a season-high. It is also the most points he's scored in his career against a DI team. He also chipped in eight rebounds, the most on the team. Senior guard Austen Awosika also scored in double figures for the fifth time in six games this season with 13 points to go with six rebounds and four assists as he played all 40 minutes. Junior forward Johnny Wang pitched in a season-high seven points and five rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench.
