FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton men's basketball lost to Hofstra by a score of 79-57 in Titan Gym on Sunday evening. The Pride had five double-figure scorers and never trailed in the game. Fullerton was led by senior guard Austen Awosika (13 points) and sophomore guard Wayne Arnold (15 points).
Hofstra (4-2 overall) opened up the game on a 15-2 run and did not look back. They shot the ball well from distance at 9-21 (42.9%) and overall went 31-61 (50.8%) from the field. The Pride dominated the glass by a count of 44-25 as well. For the Titans (2-3 overall), they shot 21-60 (35.0%) from the field and just 4-23 (17.4%) from beyond the arc. Both teams shot the ball well from the free-throw line as Hofstra went 8-9 and Fullerton went 11-12.
Awosika tallied 13 points, two rebounds, three assists and two steals. Arnold contributed 15 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal. Freshman guard Tory San Antonio came off the bench to pitch in eight points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in 29 minutes of action.
Next up, the Titans head to Santa Clara for the Cable Car Classic. They open up the three-game round robin with Southeast Missouri State on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. PT.

PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm. After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
