FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton men's basketball earned its second straight win as they defeated Stanislaus State on Saturday by a score of 82-62. The victory on homecoming was spearheaded by senior guard Austen Awosika's career-high 26 points.
The Titans led 42-34 at halftime and then blew the game open in the second half. It was 53-41 at the 14:38 mark when the Titans went on a run to take the lead 62-43 and effectively ended the game. Fullerton shot 50.8% (30-59) from the field and 80% (16-20) from the charity stripe. Head coach Dedrique Taylor and his squad won the rebounding battle 38-30 and assisted on 15 of their 30 buckets.
Awosika finished the game with a career-high 26 points (8-13 FGA, 9-11 FTA), scoring 20 in the first half alone. His previous high was 19 at St. Mary's on Dec. 11, 2018. He also tallied six rebounds and six assists.
Senior guard Brandon Kamga also scored in double figures with 12 points and nine rebounds. Sophomore guard Wayne Arnold also scored 14 points (four three pointers) with four rebounds and two assists. Freshman guard Tory San Antonio totaled five points, eight rebounds, two assists and four steals.

PARKING
CSUF requires a parking permit for all weekday games. Beginning July 1st, parking on campus will be $10 for an All-Day permit Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm Friday until 5pm. After 5pm on Friday, Permits are not required, as well as on the weekend. Park and Pay stalls Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Friday until 5pm) are $4 for 1-hour, $8 for 2-hours. Permits can be purchased in parking lots at the permit machines and accept only major credit cards.
