FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton men's basketball tips off the 2019-20 season on Tuesday at BYU. The game will begin at 6 p.m. PT and be streamed live on BYU.TV. Click here for the full game preview.

Head coach Dedrique Taylor is back for his seventh season at the helm but has two new assistant coaches in Gus Argenal and Brandon Dunson, who both came to Fullerton from Nevada. You can get an in-depth look at our new coaches here. The reason for those two openings is because John Smith and Danny Sprinkle both earned Division I head coaching jobs. Smith is now the head men's basketball coach at Cal Poly while Sprinkle holds that same role at his alma mater of Montana State.

The Titans finished in third place in the 2018-19 regular season standings and made it to the final of the Big West Conference Tournament for the second straight year. Selected fifth in the Big West Preseason Media poll, the 2019-20 squad will look quite different as the team lost its top two scorers, and two of the best scorers in school history in Kyle Allman, Jr. and Khalil Ahmad. Taylor and his staff welcome nine newcomers to the team, but only one, senior guard Brandon Kamga, has NCAA game experience. The Titans do however return three starters in senior Jackson Rowe, a two-time Big West honorable mention honoree, senior guard Austen Awosika and junior forward Johnny Wang. Letterwinners Daniel Venzant (redshirt sophomore guard), Wayne Arnold (sophomore guard) and Davon Clare (senior forward) will be relied upon heavily as well.

Your first chance to see the Titans in action for a regular season game will be on Homecoming, Nov. 16, against Stanislaus State. The game is set to begin at 8 p.m. PT.
