FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball had three student-athletes honored by the Big West Conference on Monday. For the second consecutive year, senior guard Kyle Allman, Jr. was named to the first team, senior guard Khalil Ahmad was named to the second and junior forward Jackson Rowe was an honorable mention.

Allman is just the seventh player in program history to earn First-Team All-Big West accolades at least twice and the first since Scott Cutley (2006-07, 2007-08). The Brooklyn finished the regular season the No. 4 scorer in the Big West at 17.8 points per game, tops on the team. He has scored in double figures in all but two games this season including 20+ on 10 occasions and 30+ four times. He is second on the team in assists as well. The Big West recognized him as Player of the Week on Jan. 21 as well.

Ahmad, the 2015 Big West Freshman of the Year, is one of just five athletes in school history to earn All-Conference honors three or more times during their careers and he's the first since Bobby Brown (2004-07). To close the regular season he is second on the team in scoring and fifth in the league at 17.8 points per game. He is also second in steals at 1.6 per game and sixth in free-throw percentage at 79.6. The Corona native has scored 10+ in all but four games this season. The Big West Player of the Week on Nov. 19 has scored 20+ 11 times, 30+ two times and he scored a career-high 40 points against Monmouth, tied for the third-highest single game total in program history.

Rowe was named Big West Player of the Week on both Jan. 7 and Jan. 28 this season. For the year, he's averaging 11.3 points (third on the team), 8.0 rebounds (first on the team), 25 total blocks (first on the team) and 54 assists (third on the team). His 55.5 field goal percentage (131-236) is third in the league. The 2016 Big West Freshman of the Year has recorded six double-doubles this season and averaged 8.7 rebounds per game during conference play.

The Titans (14-16, 10-6) enter the Big West Tournament as the No. 3 seed and face No. 6 seed UC Davis on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. PT at the Honda Center. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3.
