FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton is kicking off the 2018-19 season on Friday at 7 p.m. PT in Titan Gym with the annual Blue/Orange Scrimmage but this year it's more than just a scrimmage, it is an EVENT! 

"We're looking to give the public an opportunity to see us and we want to invite the students and fans to come into our gym and spend the night with us and interact with us," head coach Dedrique Taylor said. "We want it to be as festive and as fun as possible but at the same time our team is trying to get some work done during our scrimmage and get better. We want the students and fans to watch us work and see what they can expect going into the 2018-19 season. It should be a fun night for everybody!"

This event is FREE for all in attendance.

2017-18 was one of the best seasons in program history, as the Titans racked up 20 wins for just the seventh time in school history and made their third trip to the Big Dance. Fullerton has qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 2018, 2008 and 1978. The 20 victories were the most since the Titans captured 21 wins during the 2011-12 campaign. Taylor and his staff return four starters from last year's squad including first-team All-Big West honoree Kyle Allman, Jr., second-team All-Big West honoree Khalil Ahmad and All-Big West honorable mention Jackson Rowe.
