FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball earned a weekend sweep and a season sweep of UC Davis after Saturday's 68-66 victory against the Aggies. Junior guards Khalil Ahmad (31 points) and Kyle Allman, Jr. (21 points) led the Titans to its seventh league win.

CSF (14-9, 7-4) earned a season sweep against UC Davis for the first time since the 2008 season. Ahmad carried the load for CSF in the first half, scoring 20 of his 31 points in the opening frame on 7-10 shooting. He scored 11 points in the second half to finish with 31 points on 11-15 shooting, including 4-7 from distance and 5-6 from the stripe. Ahmad also eclipsed 1,000 points for his career, becoming the 24th Titan in program history to join the 1K club.

Allman did his work in the second half, scoring 19 of his 21 points in the final frame. It is the 10th time this season he's scored more than 20 points in a game. He also hauled in eight rebounds, dished out an assist and had two steals.

The Titans shot the ball at a high level on Saturday at 56.1% (23-41) from the field, 43.8% (7-16) from beyond the arc and 75% (15-20) at the free-throw line. However, the Titans needed a stop at the end of the game to secure the win and they got one. With five seconds remaining, UC Davis took the ball out of bounds down 68-66 and the Titans forced a miss and Allman snatched the rebound to seal the win.

Sophomore guard Austen Awosika scored eight points, hauled in four rebounds and dished out two assists.

UC Davis was led by TJ Shorts II who scored 21 points with two assists and three steals. Garrison Goode scored 14 points and Siler Schneider had 15 points.

CSF returns to the court on Saturday at 6 p.m. PT when it hosts Cal State Northridge on ESPN3.
