SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton earned an overtime victory at Cal Poly on Saturday night by a score of 101-97. The Titans were led by junior guard Kyle Allman, Jr. who scored 30 points and grabbed a career-high nine rebounds and sophomore forward Jackson Rowe who had 24 points and 12 rebounds.

The Titans led by 10 with 3:13 left in regulation but missed free throws let Cal Poly (6-10, 1-1 Big West) back in the game and eventually forced it to overtime as they hit two free throws with three seconds left to tie the game. Cal State Fullerton (9-5, 2-0 Big West) never trailed in the overtime period and Allman made two free throws with three seconds left to push the lead to four and ice the game.

Behind Allman's 30 points (10-17 FGA, 10-15 FT) and Rowe's 24 points (10-13 FGA, 4-6 FT) who led the way, junior guard Khalil Ahmad chipped in 13 points, four rebounds, one assist and a steal. Sophomore guard Austen Awosika scored 10 points, hauled in four rebounds and dished five assists with just one turnover in 34 minutes. It is the fourth straight game that four or more Titans have scored in double figures.

CSF moved to 7-1 on the year when it outrebounds the opponent, as it hauled in 47 rebounds compared to just 33 for Cal Poly. All seven Titans that played 20+ minutes snatched at least three rebounds.

Cal Poly shot 42.5 percent (31-73) from the field but connected on 19 of its 39 attempts from distance. The Mustangs were led by Donovan Fields, who scored 23 points, and Victor Joseph, who made seven three pointers and scored 33 points.

The Titans shot a season-best 58.1 percent (36-62) from the field and scored a season-high 58 points in the paint. It is also the first time that CSF has scored 100 points or more since it put up 106 on Portland State on Nov. 13, 2016.

The squad resumes Big West play on Thursday at UC Irvine at 7:30 p.m. PT on Fox Sports West.
