FULLERTON, Calif. – Georgia outlasted Cal State Fullerton 64-57, in a hard fought, defensive battle.

The Bulldogs were led by junior William Jackson II, who put up 16 points. Senior Yante Maten had 15 points in the win and redshirt senior Juwan Parker contributed 13 points. Freshman Rayshaun Hammonds dominated the glass for Georgia pulling down a game-high 12 rebounds.

Junior Kyle Allman, Jr. led all scorers with a career-high 34 points on 9-18 from the field and 13-15 from the stripe. He was the only Titan to get into double-figures though as sophomore Jackson Rowe was second on the team with just seven points.

Fullerton came out and took Georgia by storm in the first half. Their defensive pressure forced 11 turnovers and the Bulldogs could not find an answer to break the press. Led by Allman's 14 first half points, the Titans came out on top at halftime leading it 27-21 shooting 38.1% from the field.

Through the first 10 minutes of the second half, it was more or less the same with Georgia struggling against the defensive pressure from Fullerton. But a 7-0 Bulldog run started by Jackson turned the game around. After a little back-and-forth of exchanging buckets between teams, Maten put up six unanswered points and the Titans couldn't respond. The Bulldogs would end up extending their lead to 10 and put the game too far out of reach for Cal State Fullerton.

The Titans will face Sacramento State on Friday at 6:30 p.m. PT.
