IRVINE, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton men's basketball team has been scheduled for six games on ESPN3 during the 2016-17 season with the possibility of more wild card dates to be added on the ESPN family of networks during Big West Conference action, the conference announced Tuesday.

In addition, the Titans will play at Washington on Thursday, Nov. 17; a game that will air on PAC-12 Network. Tipoff from Alaska Airlines Arena is set for 8 p.m.

The Titans ESPN3 schedule begins Jan. 5 when the team opens Big West Conference play against defending conference champions Hawai'i at Titan Gym.

Two weeks later, Fullerton will face UC Riverside at Titan Gym on ESPN3 with tipoff set for 7 p.m. The Titans' third ESPN3 appearance is set for Jan. 28 when they host Cal Poly for a 7 p.m. tipoff at Titan Gym.

The Titans then host rivals Long Beach State on Feb. 11 on ESPN3 with a 6 p.m. tipoff followed by a date with UC Irvine on ESPN3 on Feb. 22 at Titan Gym.

Fullerton's final appearance on ESPN3 comes on March 2 when the Titans host UC Santa Barbara at Titan Gym in the team's final home game of the season.

In addition to the six set dates, there will be three games eligible for wild card broadcasts: Jan. 14 at UC Irvine (ESPNU/ESPN3), Feb. 18 vs. UC Davis (ESPNU/ESPN3), Feb. 25 at Hawai'i (ESPNU), and March 4 at CSUN (ESPN3).

The Titans open the season on Nov. 5 with an exhibition against St. Martins at Titan Gym. The team officially opens the 2016-17 slate on Nov. 11 when they host Caltech at Titan Gym.

The squad will feature five returners and 12 newcomers, nine of which are listed at 6-foot-5 and above including three centers listed at 6-foot-10 and above, giving the Titans a lot of length and a lot of depth for the upcoming season. Titan fans will get their first opportunity to see the squad in action at the annual Blue-Orange Scrimmage, which will be held Saturday, Oct. 22 at 11 a.m. at Titan Gym. Admission will be free.
