FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton men's basketball team will play host to 15 dates at Titan Gym this season, as the 2014-15 schedule is loaded with three opponents from the 2014 NCAA Tournament, four additional postseason teams and two match-ups with Pac-12 regional foes.

"I think we were able to produce a very challenging schedule, while still maintaining competitive series with regional opponents," second-year head coach Dedrique Taylor said. "Our program will have the opportunity to measure itself against some of the most historically-successful programs in the West, as we prepare for what will be a difficult Big West schedule."

Cal State Fullerton men's basketball season-ticket renewals will be mailed on Wednesday, Sept. 3. Season tickets for the 2014-15 men's basketball season will go on sale over the phone at 657-278-2783, in person at the Ticket Office, or online at www.fullertontitans.com beginning at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 24.

Single-game tickets for the 2014-15 men's basketball season will go on sale over the phone at 657-278-2783, in person at the Ticket Office, or online at www.fullertontitans.com beginning at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Premium games for the 2014-15 men's basketball season are Thursday, Jan15, Thursday, Jan. 29, and Saturday, Feb. 7 vs. UC Riverisde.

The Cal State Fullerton Athletics Ticket Office is located in the Titan House on campus off of Gymnasium Drive on the northeast side of Titan Gym. Exiting Gymnasium Drive off State College Blvd. is the best way to reach the office. There is 30 minute parking available across the street and on the east side of the building.

Schedule Notes
The Titans will welcome Cal Tech on Nov. 8 for an exhibition contest at Titan Gym, before beginning the season on the road for the third straight year.

The Titans will make a return trip to Santa Clara for the season opener on Nov. 14, after defeating the Broncos, 86-73, in last season's home opener. The Titans hold a record of 23-31 in season openers, including a 6-23 mark on the road.

Following the visit to Northern California, Fullerton will make arguably its most difficult trip of the year, traveling to play New Mexico at The Pit on Nov. 16. The Lobos, winners of three-straight Mountain West regular season championships, completed last season with a record of 27-7 overall and 15-3 in the MWC – setting a record for their most Mountain West wins ever.

After winning the MWC Tournament, New Mexico was knocked out of the NCAA Tournament in the first round, suffering a 58-53 loss to Stanford. More daunting than playing New Mexico, is playing at The Pit, where the Lobos hold a 687-153 (.818) record.

The Lobos and Titans will be playing for the first time since Fullerton eliminated New Mexico from the NCAA Tournament with a 90-85 victory in Tempe, Ariz., on March 11, 1978 during the West Regional Quarterfinals.

The Titans return to Fullerton for their home opener on Saturday, Nov. 22, hosting San Jose State in a return game from last year. The Spartans will actually make a quick trip back to Titan Gym, scheduled to play in the 2014 Wooden Legacy the following weekend. Fullerton holds a record of 28-14 in home openers.

For the second straight year, Fullerton will travel to USC, playing its first of two Pac-12 opponents during the season. The Trojans finished 2014 with a record of 11-21 overall, but boast the 14^th-ranked 2014 recruiting class according to ESPN's Recruiting Nation rankings.

While the Wooden Legacy will be taking place at Titan Gym, the Titans will travel to the South Carolina Upstate Tournament over the Thanksgiving holiday. During the tournament, the Titans will play two postseason opponents in Wright State (21-15, CollegeInsider.com Tournament) and USC Upstate (19-5, CollegeInsider.com Tournament) as well as Florida International.

After returning from the East Coast, the Titans will play their second Pac-12 opponent as well as their second opponent from the 2014 NCAA Tournament as the Titans visit UCLA.

The Dec. 3 match-up at Pauley Pavilion will be the 11^th all-time meeting between the two programs, with the last game serving as Cal State Fullerton's only win against the Bruins. On Nov. 16, 2009 in Los Angeles, Aaron Thompson scored a career-high 22 points and Jacques Streeter added 11 clutch points as Cal State Fullerton beat UCLA in men's basketball for the first time, 68-65, in double overtime before a national ESPN TV audience.

UCLA completed its 2014 season with a record of 28-9 overall and 12-6 in league. A No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament, the Bruins suffered a 79-68 loss to Florida in the Sweet 16. The Bruins finished the year with a 15 RPI and ranked 15^th in the final USA Today Coaches Poll.

With the all-time series even at 11 games apiece after Fullerton's 78-64 win in Malibu last year, Pepperdine (15-16, 8-10 WCC) returns to Titan Gym on Dec. 6 as Fullerton plays its second WCC foe of the year.

In another return trip, Fullerton travels to Sacramento State (14-16, 10-10 Big Sky) on Dec. 11 for the 13^th all-time meeting between the two schools. The Titans defeated the Hornets, 59-51, last season at Titan Gym.

Fullerton will then travel north to play Nevada (15-17, 10-8 MWC) on Dec. 13. The Wolf Pack and Titans have played one another on 16 occasions, with Nevada holding a 4-12 advantage and Fullerton suffering an 80-77 loss in Reno on Nov. 16, 2012 in the last meeting between the two programs. The Titans have lost 11 straight to Nevada.

A stretch of four consecutive home games begins with Division II opponent Cal State Dominguez Hills (Dec. 18), followed by a game with Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Dec. 22. The Islanders posted an 18-16 winning record last year and finished second in the Southland Conference (14-4) while also participating in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

A second Div. II opponent to visit Fullerton will be Cal State East Bay (Dec. 30), while the Titans will close their homestand and non-conference portion of the schedule on Jan. 3 against Seattle. The Titans and Redhawks played a home-and-away series last year, with Seattle winning both contests.

For the second straight year, Fullerton will open Big West play against UC Riverside on Jan. 8. The Titans open Big West play on the road for the 21^st time with a 7-13 record. The Titans post an overall record of 14-26 in Big West openers.

The Big West Conference schedule will feature a three-game homestand beginning with Long Beach State (Jan. 29), CSUN (Feb. 5) and UC Riverside (Feb. 7).

Fullerton will end the regular season hosting Hawai'i on Saturday, Mar. 7 at Titan Gym.
