Tucson, Ariz. - Senior right-handed pitcher Jeff Kaplan became the Titans 71st All-American as Collegiate Baseball named him to its Third Team Thursday morning.
By Kaplan earning the honor, the Titans have now had 11 straight years with at least one All-American pitcher dating back to the 1998 season.
Kaplan add his second postseason award to his mantle after winning the Big West Conference's Co-Pitcher of the Year award (With Long Beach's Andrew Liebel and UC Irvine's Scott Gorgen) on Tuesday.
The Dana Point native has posted an 11-1 record with a 4.00 ERA facing the headline hurlers of the Titans' opponents, while striking out 82 hitters in 99.0 innings.
Kaplan is 22-4 in his career with Fullerton. He is due to pitch this weekend at the Fullerton Regional.
