TITANS `09: Was a role player to begin 2009 before permanently becoming the starting third baseman on Apr. 19 against Pacific • Played in 46 of the Titans' 63 games and made 30 starts (one at second base, two in left field and 27 at third base) • His .371 batting average was the second best on the team • Picked up his first Div. I hit and RBI on Feb. 28 vs. Stanford •Picked up his first Div. CAMARILLO HS: Was a two-time letterwinner (2004, 2005) for Head Coach Richard Jacquez at Camarillo High School in Camarillo, Calif. • Was the team captain, shortstop and leadoff hitter in 2005, leading the Scorpions to the CIF quarter finals by hitting .311 with 2 home runs and 17 RBI • Was named to the All-Pacific View League First Team in 2005 • Hit .315 and drove in 26 in 2004 en route to a second-team all-league honor • Also lettered in football • Was on the dean's list all four years of high school.
