TITANS `04: One of three Titans to play in all 69 contests in
2004 (Pilittere and Suzuki were the others) • Had 24 multi-hit

Mar. 12 - Mar. 20 he hit at a .483 clip, going 14-for-29 and

points (form .299 to .324) over the last 31 games by going

selection • Was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 28th
round of the MLB First-Year Player Draft last June, but chose to
return to Fullerton for his senior year.
TITANS '03: Was a key component offensively for the Titans
• Started 63 games (only Shane Costa and Richie Burgos started
more) and batted in the leadoff spot 35 times • All but three
of his starts came at third base • Finished 10th in the Big
West with a .344 average • Also tied for eighth with 17
doubles and fourth with 14 stolen bases • Had a key two-run
triple to open the scoring in the Titans' 5-1 win over Arizona
State in the Super Regional opener • Named to the Fullerton
Regional all-tournament team after batting .357 (5-for-14),
including the game-winning double in the top of the ninth vs. Notre
Dame on May 31 • Tied for second on the Titans with 24
multi-hit games • Had four hits on five occasions (no other
Titan did it more than twice) • Had a 12-game hitting streak
from Apr. 15 - May 9, which tied him with Costa for the longest by
a Titan • Named Big West Player of the Week and NCBWA National
Hitter of the Week after batting .818 from Mar. 4-9...over one
stretch, he had hits in eight consecutive at bats and reached base
in 10 straight appearances • Was the Big West leader in
hitting for a few weeks early in the season • Had back-to-back
four-hit games against UC Santa Barbara on Apr. 18-19 •
Blasted a three-run walk-off homer in a 6-5 exhibition win over
Keio University (Japan) • Was 1-for-3 with a pair of RBI in
the Titans' 8-2 win over LSU in the CWS opener.
CERRITOS COLLEGE: Batted .353 in 2002 at Cerritos College (JC)
in Cerritos, Calif. (the former home of Coach Horton) • One of
two players to start all 45 games • Batted No. 3 in the
Falcons' order 39 times • Had a 20-game hitting streak to open
the season and hit safely in 40 of 45 games overall • Tied for
the team lead with five triples and was tops in stolen bases
(22-of-27) • Was second on the Falcons with 18 multi-hit games
and nine multi-RBI games.
LOS ALAMITOS H.S.: Played on two Sunset League championship
teams in baseball and three championship teams in basketball at Los
Alamitos (Calif.) H.S. • Helped lead his team to the CIF
semifinals as a senior after advancing to the quarterfinals his
junior year • Was a first-team all-league choice as a senior
after earning second-team honors as a junior • Named
second-team All-CIF his senior season • In basketball, he was
a two-time first-team all-league choice, while being named
second-team Long Beach Press Telegram Dream Team as a senior.
