TITANS `05: Served as the team's closer in 2005
and was just one save shy the Big West Conference lead, saving 13
games for the Titans, earning an honorable mention from the
conference for his effort • Appeared in 34 games (finishing
32), just two off the conference lead behind Pacific's Josh Smith
• Pitched in his longest outing of the season May 3 against
San Diego State, allowing just one hit over 3.1 scoreless innings
to earn his third victory of the season • Collected 49
strikeouts in 50.1 innings of work • Picked up four saves in
four straight appearances twice, from Feb. 25 to Mar. 5, fanning 10
opponents in 7.1 innings of work, and again from Apr.12 to Apr. 24
where he struck out five over seven innings • Saved games on
back-to-back days just twice in 2005, (June 5 and 6), both coming
in the Regionals.
TITANS `04: Led the team and was sixth in the
conference in appearances with 30 • Collected his first
collegiate win vs. Minnesota on Mar. 14 when he went 2.1 scoreless
innings, allowing only two hits • Had his longest appearances
of the season Jan. 30 vs. Stanford and Feb. 14 vs. Arizona, where
he went a career-high 3.2 innings.
CANYON H.S.: Was a four-year letterman for
Coach Joe Hoggatt • Won a total of 20 games in three years,
including going 10-3 with a 2.34 ERA as a senior • Named
All-CIF, all-league, All-Orange County and Team MVP as a senior
• Also earned second-team All-CIF and all-league honors as a
junior.
