the Fullerton Regional (2.1 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 K) • Went four
consecutive scoreless outings between Mar. 25 and Apr. 5, allowing
just three hits over 12.1 innings pitched • Struck out a
career-high five batters on Mar. 8 against Southern Miss over 2.2
innings of relief • Had six appearances in which he struck out

Earned his first collegiate save in his first appearance, tossing
three innings on Feb. 2 against Stanford, surrendering one earned

freshman, going 3-3 in those appearances • Had a string of
four relief appearances from Mar. 9 to Apr. 10 (10 innings) in
which he did not give up a run • Posted his first career win
on Feb. 27 vs. San Diego State in a three inning midweek start

CIF Championship • Backed up his junior year with a solid
senior season going 9-0 from the mound, with a 1.71 ERA and 81
strikeouts, while hitting .297 with four home runs in 2006 •
