seasons at Deer Valley High School in Glendale, Arizona, under Head
Coach Larry Eubanks • Hit .425 with 5 home runs as a junior,
driving in 17 for the Skyhawks team that qualified for the state
playoffs • Helped the Skyhawks to a State 5AII Championship
with a monstrous season, hitting .592 with 10 home runs and 50 RBI
(1.173 slugging percentage) in 2006 • Was a two-time
