FULLERTON, Calif. – Following his quality start in the Titans win over UC Riverside Saturday Fynn Chester has been named Big West Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced Monday. 

Chester allowed just one unearned run on five hits in eight innings pitched in the Titans 13-1 win over UC Riverside. Chester didn't walk a single batter while tying his career-high with eight strikeouts. 

The senior righty is 5-0 on the year with one save and an impressive 2.15 ERA in 37.2 innings pitched. Chester has walked just four batters in 12 appearances while striking out 28. 

After a series sweep at UC Riverside this past weekend, the Titans return home to Goodwin Field for a midweek matchup against LMU on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. PT.
