FULLERTON, Calif. – After a standout week Maddox Latta has been named Big West Field Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. 

In four games last week Latta hit .533 (8-for-15) at the plate with two runs and two RBI. The Titans swept their doubleheader Sunday over Pepperdine to secure the series win. In the two games Sunday, Latta went 5-for-7 with two runs, an RBI and two walks. 

On the season, Latta is hitting .347 with six runs and seven RBI while drawing eight walks. Latta has a .439 on-base percentage and .469 slugging percentage.
