FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton baseball dropped the series finale to Cal Poly by a final score of 2-1 Sunday afternoon at Goodwin Field. The Titans drop to 19-30 and 11-13 in conference play.

The Titans battled throughout the game, heading into the ninth tied 1-1, but ultimately came up short as Cal Poly's Matt Lopez hit a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning.

Fynn Chester had a strong start for the Titans, going 4.2 innings, allowing just one earned run on seven hits.

Fullerton fell behind as Cal Poly took a 1-0 lead in the top of the third inning. The Titans tied the game in the fourth on a productive out by JJ Cruz to drive in Nate Nankil following his leadoff triple.
