Baseball Loses to Cal Poly at Home

FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton baseball dropped the series opener to Cal Poly, 13-4, Friday night at Goodwin Field. The Titans drop to 19-28 and 11-11 in conference play. 

The Titans fell behind 3-0 after Cal Poly scored one run in the top of the first inning and two runs in the third. 

Fullerton got back in the game in the bottom of fourth inning on a fielding error by the Mustangs, allowing two Titans to score. 

Cal Poly broke the game open in the sixth, scoring six runs including a grand slam by Brooks Lee. 

The Titans look to even the series in game two Saturday night at Goodwin Field. First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m.
