LA JOLLA, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton baseball dominated UC San Diego, 19-7, in game two of the series Saturday afternoon at Triton Ballpark. The Titans improve to 18-26 and 11-9 in conference play.

Fullerton's offense exploded for 10 runs on nine hits in the top half of the third inning to blow the game open. With the bases loaded, Jack Haley hit a bases clearing double to right center field to put the Titans up 8-2.

Two batters later Jackson Lyon singled through the left side of the infield to bring home Haley and extend the Titans lead to 9-2.

Austin Schell and Zach Lew then came up with back-to-back hits to each drive in one run and put the Titans up 11-2.

Jason Brandow then drew a bases-loaded walk to bring home Schell and make it a 12-2 game. Haley would later single up the middle to drive in two more runs for his fourth and fifth RBI of the inning.

Connor finished off the inning with an RBI single to right field, putting the Titans up 15-2.

Haley had a career day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs and a career-high six RBI, matching Lew's high for most RBI in a single game this season.

The Titans 10 runs in the third inning ties a season-high for most runs in an inning, last doing it on Mar. 27 against UC Riverside. Fullerton's 19 runs is a season high and the most since May 2, 2015 against UC Riverside.

Fullerton jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning on a three-run home run by Bobo, his fourth of the season.

Connor added to the Titans lead in the top half of the second inning on a two-run home run to right field, his third of the year. Connor did what Titans fans have grown accustomed to, going 3-for-6 with two runs and three RBI.

Lyon hit his team-high seventh home run of the season in the top of the sixth inning to put the Titans up 16-5. Lyon showed why he's one of the best hitters in the Big West, going 2-for-5 at the plate with two runs and two RBI.

Evan Yates earned the win for the Titans to improve to 3-1 on the year. Yates pitched five innings, giving up five earned runs on eight hits while walking three and striking out a career-high eight batters.

Fullerton looks to secure the series victory in game three Sunday afternoon. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m.
