Baseball Drops Rubber Game to Hawai'i

HONOLULU – Cal State Fullerton Baseball lost game three of the series to Hawai'i by a final score of 17-3 Sunday afternoon at Les Murakami Stadium. Fullerton drops to 17-24 and 10-8 in conference play.

The Titans jumped out to an early 2-0 lead after scoring one run in the first and second inning. Jackson Lyon scored in the first inning on an RBI fielder's choice from Zach Lew. In the second, Cole Urman singled up the middle to bring home Jason Brandow from second. 

Hawai'i immediately responded with four runs in the bottom half of the second inning on a grand slam by Cole Cabrera. The Rainbow Warriors would go on to score two in the fourth, five in the sixth, two in the seventh and four in the eighth.

The Titans return to the mainland for a midweek matchup Tuesday night at Goodwin Field against BYU. First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m.
