FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton baseball defeated UC Davis, 4-3, on a walk-off triple by Jackson Lyon Friday night at Goodwin Field. The Titans improve to 12-20 and 7-4 in the Big West.

Trailing 3-1 in the eighth inning, the Titans scored two runs on a two-run single by Carter White to tie the game at 3-3. White came in to pinch hit in the eighth.

Caden Connor began the bottom of the ninth inning with a leadoff single before Lyon's triple scored him from first to win the game.
Lyon accounted for two of the Titans four runs, hitting a solo home run in the bottom of the third inning, his fourth of the season. Lyon went 2-for-3 at the plate with one run, two RBI and two walks.

Freshman Evan Yates had his best start of the season, pitching 5.1 innings, allowing two unearned runs on three hits while walking one and striking out four.
Michael Weisberg earned the win after pitching a shutout ninth inning while striking out the side. Weisberg is now 2-2 this season.
The Titans are back at Goodwin Field Saturday afternoon looking to sweep the series against UC Davis. First pitch is at 1:00 p.m. PT.
