FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton secured the series win over California Baptist with a 6-3 win Saturday afternoon at Goodwin Field.
The Titans got off to a hot start, scoring three runs in the bottom of the first inning to take an early lead. Fullerton's first three batters in the lineup recorded a base hit to begin the game, starting with Caden Connor followed by Jake Harvey and Zach Lew who hit the RBI single to score Connor.

With Harvey standing on third and two outs in the inning, Brendan Bobo came up with a RBI single to center field to put the Titans up 2-0. Later in the inning Bobo reached home on a passed ball by the CBU catcher to extend the lead to 3-0.
First-year transfer from UNLV, Ryan Hare, put together a strong outing in his first start as a Titan. In five innings pitched, Hare allowed just three hits and one earned run while striking out three.
Kyle Luckham came on in relief in the sixth inning and picked up his third win of the season to move to 3-5 this year.
California Baptist scored one run in the fourth and two runs in the top of the sixth to tie the game up at 3-3. However, the Titans responded in the seventh inning, scoring another three runs to take the lead back.
Carter White and Cole Urman got the seventh inning going with back-to-back singles before Josh Urps laid down a sacrifice bunt which ended up scoring both White and Urman after a throwing error by the CBU pitcher. After a sac bunt by Connor to get Urps to third base, Harvey singled through right side to bring him home and put the Titans up 6-3.

Cameron Repetti finished off the final two innings of the game and allowed just one hit while striking out two on his way to earning his third save of the season.
Fullerton looks to sweep the three-game series against the Lancers Sunday afternoon at Goodwin Field. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. PT.
