LOS ANGELES – Cal State Fullerton lost to UCLA Saturday afternoon at Jackie Robinson Stadium by a final score of 6-1.
Josh Urps had the team's only RBI in the game on a single in the seventh inning to drive in Austin Schell from third.
Kyle Luckham started the game on the mound and went 3.1 innings, giving up four earned runs on six hits. Luckham is now 1-2 this season. Landon Anderson had a strong game in relief, throwing 2.2 innings while allowing just one hit and one earned run.
Jesse Bergin started the game for UCLA and picked up the win to move to 2-1 this season. Bergin pitched six innings, giving up two hits and no runs.
Fullerton wraps up the weekend Sunday afternoon at Goodwin Field against Pepperdine at 1:00 p.m. PT.
