Fullerton Falls on the Road to San Diego

SAN DIEGO – The Titans dropped their first road contest of the season to San Diego 6-1 Friday afternoon at Fowler Park. 

Fullerton was within reach of taking the lead for most of the game before San Diego scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning. 

Jake Harvey continued his strong start to the season, hitting his first home run in a Titans uniform. Harvey crushed a ball to left field in the top of the third inning to tie the game at 1-1.

Tanner Bibee started the game on the mound for Fullerton and went six innings, giving up two runs (one earned) while striking out four batters. Jake Miller picked up the win for San Diego after going five innings and allowing just one run. 

The Titans look to bounce back Saturday afternoon in game two against San Diego. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. PT.
