FULLERTON, Calif. - After giving up the first run of the night in the top of the second inning, the Titans turned the game around and scored 15 unanswered runs to take game two of the series 15-1 Sunday night at Goodwin Field.

The Titans (2-0) bats came alive in the bottom of the second inning, scoring five runs to jump out to a commanding lead. Two innings later Fullerton put up a seven spot, all with two outs in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Jason Brandow had an impressive game offensively, going 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Zach Lew was his normal self as he went 2-for-3 at the plate with three runs and two RBI while Jackson Lyon had a similar stat line as he hit 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Nate Nankil, Tristan Gomes and Cole Urman each recorded their first collegiate hits while Deylan Pigford and Omar Veloz picked up their first hits as Titans.

Timothy Josten started the game on the mound for the Titans and pitched 3.1 innings, allowing three hits and just one unearned run while striking out four. Landon Anderson came on in relief for Josten in the fourth with the bases loaded and one out. The lefty struck out the next two batters to get out of the jam and keep the Titans lead at 5-1. Anderson pitched 1.2 innings and gave up only one hit on his way to earning the win for Fullerton.

Freshman Christian Rodriguez saw action for the first time and showed his stuff immediately, going three innings, allowing just two hits while striking out four batters. Transfer Samuel Gomez also got work on the mound as he finished off the final frame, striking out two and not giving up a hit.

Fullerton looks to sweep the series against Utah on Monday afternoon in the third and final game. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. PT.
