FULLERTON, Calif. – The box score may not show it, but the game was one of the most dominating performances of the season for the Titans and Andrew Quezada was nearly impossible to hit for most of the game, as the Titans cruised to a 6-3 win over Cal Poly to earn the series sweep, Sunday afternoon at Goodwin Field.
For Fullerton (15-15, 4-2 Big West), the win puts it back at .500 for the first time all season, as the Titans have now churned out five straight win to put them big in the driver's seat for a Big West crown, after beginning the season 1-7. Fullerton earned its second three-game weekend sweep of the season.
The victory also marks the Titans' first series win over the Mustangs since 2015 and the first series sweep of Cal Poly since 2010. The overall five-game win streak is the longest of the season.

Quezada (1-3) more than earned his first win of the season, as he set new career highs in innings pitched and strikeouts. The Bellflower, California native tossed 7.0 innings, fanned nine and surrendered just three runs on seven scattered hits. Out of Quezada's first nine outs, seven of them came via the strikeout.
Dillon Brown kept his strong campaign going, as he pitched 1.2 scoreless innings in relief before Brett Conine came in for the one out save, as he's now totaled seven on the year, including picking up saves in four of the last five games.
The offense came alive once again, as the Titans scored all six of their runs in the third inning off of six hits. Jace Chamberlin kept his hot stick going, as he went 2-for-3 on the day with a run scored and an RBI. Eight different Titans in all collected hits on the day.
Hank LoForte went notched a hit, a run and an RBI from the leadoff spot, while Mitchell Berryhill also recorded a knock.
Daniel Cope collected two RBI, a knock and a run scored while Jairus Richards went 1-for-2 with a double, a run and two RBI to go along with a walk. Jacob Pavletich and Brett Borgogno both chipped in with hits, while Borgogno also scored a run.
The third inning was surely something special to watch for the Titans, as the offense did all their damage there. Richards began the frame innocently enough, drawing a leadoff walk.
Borgogno then singled through the left side. LoForte then followed suit with a knock of his own up the middle to score Richards from second. Berryhill then laid down a perfect bunt to move the runners to second and third, but the bases became loaded after Ruben Cardenas as plunked by a pitch.
Chamberlin then singled up the middle to bring in another run. Cope then kept the carousal going, with a knock through the left side, driving in two more.
Richards eventually came up for the second time in the inning and blasted a single to right field to allow the sixth run to come across.
Cal Poly struck for two in the seventh and one in the eighth, but it wasn't nearly enough to overcome Fullerton's large lead.
The Titans aim to extend their win streak, as they close out the homestand with Pepperdine on Tuesday at 6 pm PT.
