FULLERTON, Calif. - Dalton Blaser drove in four runs and Tanner Pinkston recorded another three hits Sunday afternoon as Cal State Fullerton completed a three-game Big West Conference sweep over UC Davis, 13-3, at Goodwin Field.

The Titans (21-13, 7-2) set a season high with 14 hits on the day against the Aggies (8-21, 1-8). Nine different Titans had a base hit on Sunday, four putting forth multi-hit efforts.

Pinkston led the charge for Fullerton with his second straight three-hit game. He scored twice and had one RBI. Blaser was 1-for-2 with a walk and four RBIs while Tyler Stieb went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored.

Blake Quinn scored the victory for the Titans on the mound as he allowed one run on four hits in five innings of work. Brett Conine, Maxwell Gibbs, Gavin Velasquez and Chad Hockin each tossed one inning of relief.

Along with the offensive eruption, the Titans also wreaked havoc on the base paths as they stole four bases on the day.

Fullerton took control of the game from the get go, taking a 2-0 lead after Scott Hurst and Jerrod Bravo led off with consecutive singles. After a sacrifice bunt, Tyler Stieb singled up the middle to cash in the two runs and put Fullerton up 2-0.

The Aggies cut the deficit in half with a run in the third but Fullerton scored nine runs in the next three innings to put the game away, capped off by a bases clearing double from Dalton Blaser with the bases loaded in the fifth inning to make it 11-1 and the Titans never looked back.

The Titans will head to CSU Bakersfield for a midweek contest on Tuesday night followed by a three-game nonconference series against UNLV at Goodwin Field beginning Friday night at 7 p.m.

Notes: The Titans are now 32-4 all-time against UC Davis and 24-3 at Goodwin Field… Pinkston has now reached base in 14 straight games, a new team-best… Jake Pavletich had his first career plate appearance for Fullerton on Sunday, coming in as a pinch-hitter.
