FULLERTON, Calif. - Seven of Cal State Fullerton's nine starting position players tallied a hit and freshman Colton Eastman picked up his second win of the year, helping the Titans complete a three-game sweep of Indiana, 6-1, Sunday afternoon at Goodwin Field.

Josh Vargas went 1-for-4 with a two-run triple and Tristan Hildebrandt added a two-run single for the Titans (4-2), who scored six unanswered runs after falling behind 1-0 to Indiana (1-5).

Eastman was stellar again for Fullerton as the freshman earned his second straight win, going six and 2/3 innings. He surrendered one earned run on six hits. He walked one and struck out six.

Freshman Coby Kauhaahaa also had a great day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs scored.

Indiana took the lead in the third inning after Lauren Eustace smacked his first home run of the season off Eastman, launching it into the net overlooking right field to put the Hoosiers up 1-0.

Indiana starter Caleb Baragar cruised through the first seven batters in the Fullerton order until Kauhaahaa singled through the right side with one out in the third. Hildebrandt followed with a four-pitch walk and then Vargas tripled down the right field line to score both runners and put the Titans up 2-1.

The Titans added a run in the fifth and then broke the game open in the sixth inning. Jerrod Bravo led off with a single and, following a strikeout, Hudgins drew a walk. Coby Kauhaahaa reached on an error by shortstop Brian Wilhite, plating Bravo and allowing both runners to get into scoring position. Hildebrandt then cleared the bases with a single to put the Titans up 6-1.

Baragar took his first loss of the year, going five and 2/3 innings and surrendering five runs, just two earned, on five hits. He walked two and struck out eight.

The Titans will get back on the road this week as they head to Arizona for a midweek contest on Wednesday and then head to Texas Tech for a three-game set on the weekend.
