Made 22 appearances for the Cowlitz Black Bears of the West Coast
League…finished the summer with a 2-2 record, 3.99 ERA and
five saves…tossed a total of 38 and 1/3 innings while
striking out 38…was named the West Coast League co-Player of
the Week on August 12 after tossing 8 and 2/3 shutout innings over
three games, allowing only one hit, with no walks while striking
out 10.
AS A FRESHMAN (2013)
Made five relief appearances and tossed a total of four and 2/3
innings…completed the season with a 7.71 ERA while striking
out seven.
HIGH SCHOOL A 2012 graduate of Diamond Bar High School in Walnut,
Calif. • Played three years on the varsity squad for head
coach Eric Shibley • was a two-time (2011, 2012) first
team all-Hacienda League selection • During his senior year
finished with a 5-1 record and 1.11 ERA, following up a strong
junior campaign as he compiled a 6-0 record, 1.06 ERA and in 33
innings, allowed only 23 hits • Also played on the football
team for three seasons and was named first team all-league at the
quarterback position.
