A 2012 graduate of Rio Linda High School in Rio Linda, Calif • Played four years of varsity baseball for head coach Rich Pierce • Was a three-time all-Capital Valley Conference selection, including earning MVP honors as a sophomore in 2010 • As a senior in 2012, batted .444 with a .589 on-base percentage and an .815 slugging percentage • Drove in six runs, totaled 20 runs scored with seven doubles, two triples and three home runs.
